Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice and very scarce Imperial German Mountain/Medical galvanized steel canteen, complete with cup, case, straps and belt loop. The canteen has been well taken care of over the years, though it still does show some age. The cup is marked W.M.F. 16 with the canteen being marked to the matching maker WÜRTT. MET. / FABR. 16 for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik and date the 1916.

The wool felt cover of the canteen does show some moth damage in places, very common for a piece of this age. The leather straps are all intact and supple, with all of the buckles and clips present and functional.

A really wonderful item for the Imperial German collector or museum. Ready to display!
